The Krakonoš hotel was founded

The Krakonoš (Rübezahl) hotel was founded in 1888 just like the Czech Tourist Club. This makes it one of the oldest hotels in the Czech Republic. Other accommodation facilities were built at the same time, such as the Kotrba hotel – today called Duha (which provided accommodation since 1848) or the Dana pension (originally called Lesovna). According to the same source, the Eliška pension is one of the oldest buildings in Harrachov.
